Sound familiar?

Every day feels like a negotiation — and you're losing.

You love your child. You believe in music. But somewhere between the lesson and the practice room, everything falls apart. The whining. The excuses. The tears. The constant reminders. You end up the villain and practice still doesn't get done — at least not well.

The problem isn't your child. It isn't you either. It's that nobody taught you how to support home practice — and it's not intuitive.

😩

"Why won't they just play?"

You can see their potential. They can't. And coaxing it out every single day is exhausting.

😤

"I feel like a nag."

You remind them once, twice, ten times. They resist. You lose your patience. Everyone feels bad.

😰

"Is quitting the only way out?"

The thought has crossed your mind. But you know what they'll say at 25: "I wish I hadn't quit."

What parents are saying

Real families. Real results.

"We went from tears every single day to my daughter actually asking to practice. I didn't think that was possible three months ago. Kari helped me understand what was really going on."

— Sarah M.

Mom of 8-year-old violinist

"I finally stopped being the 'bad guy.' I have actual strategies now instead of just hoping today would be better. My son practices more independently than ever, and our relationship is so much better."

— James T.

Dad of 10-year-old pianist

"The ROI on this is unreal. My daughter's teacher told us she's progressing faster than any student she's ever had. It wasn't more lessons that did it — it was better practice. This program changed everything."

— Michelle R.

Mom of 7-year-old cellist

Kari Jensen

Your coach

Hi, I'm Kari.

I've spent years in the studio teaching children music. And what I've learned over hundreds of lessons is that the biggest variable in a child's success isn't talent, or even the quality of their lessons.

It's what happens at home. In the fifteen to thirty minutes between lessons, with you. That's where practice battles are born — and where breakthroughs happen.

I built this program because parents deserve support too. You're doing something hard, and you deserve tools that actually work.

Common questions

You might be wondering…

My child has already been playing for years. Is it too late to change things?

Not at all. This program is designed specifically for parents in the middle of existing challenges. It's never too late to reset routines, rebuild connection, and establish new patterns — often the experience your child already has makes the changes more impactful, not less.

What if my child refuses to participate in the process?

This program coaches you — the parent. Your child doesn't need to buy in on day one. When you change your approach, your child's behavior follows. We start with what you can control, and work outward from there.

What does the free strategy call involve?

It's a 30-minute conversation where we talk through your specific situation — what's happening at home, what you've already tried, and whether this program is the right fit for your family. I also want to make sure you're the right fit for me. I work with a small number of families at a time, and I take that seriously. No pitch, no pressure — just an honest conversation.

Is a payment plan available?

Yes — a payment plan is available. We'll work out the details that make sense for your family on your strategy call.
